Graduate Fields
Research Focus
Rachel Bean works in the field of cosmology with interests including the underlying nature of dark energy and dark matter, the initial conditions for cosmological structure formation and the cosmic ionization history. Most recently she has been focusing on the theoretical implications of Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) temperature and polarization observations as a member of the WMAP Science Team, with interests in CMB anisotropy data analysis techniques and statistical interpretation.Educational Background
