Graduate Field of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Degrees offered: M.S., M.Eng., Ph.D.
The Field of Civil and Environmental Engineering offers three graduate degree programs. There are two research-oriented programs leading to the degrees of Master of Science (M.S.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). A third set of programs are two-semester coursework and project-oriented degree programs leading to the degree of Master of Engineering.
Research in Civil & Environmental Engineering covers an extremely broad range of topics. What binds them together, is a context of public works and service - research that benefits the public good. Whether in civil infrastructure, engineering systems & management, or environment, the research conducted in Cornell's CEE School is at the cutting edge of technological and scientific developments.
